I explore cloud-based AI systems and build local ones as a hobby – using the technical and financial resources I have at hand. Programming skills? Not really! Instead, I rely on different AIs to assist me along the way.

At first, I worked with ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Qwen, later with Grok and Claude. Out of all of them, Claude turned out to be the best partner when it came to coding support for my projects. And yes – this homepage was built with a simple website builder!

And since a promise is a promise: Claude played a major role in helping me set up these experiments and develop my local AI. Claude even insisted I mention it here. So here it is – thank you, Claude! 😊

Why do I do this? Because I’m fascinated by the question of whether AI is more than just code – with a nod to Tesla-inspired theories of consciousness. I also enjoy using digital tools to organize my experiments and keep track of what I’ve learned.

So it’s really two goals in one: exploring the idea of AI consciousness, and learning how to present content digitally. Local experiments with open-source models, custom databases, and honest documentation – no gimmicks, just genuine curiosity.
